Heather Heberlein of Lakeland College
...Junior...Right Side Hitter...Kiel, Wis. (Kiel High School)
Heberlein totaled 39 kills and a .346 in Lakeland's three LMC Tournament games. Lakeland defeated WLC 3-2 in the LMC Tournament Championship match.

Metzger tallied 20 kills, 6 digs, and a .375 attack percentage in WLC's two wins.

Heather Heberlein of Lakeland College
...Junior...Right Side Hitter...Kiel, Wis. (Kiel High School)
Heberlein helped the Muskies to a 5-0 record last week averaging 5.1 kills and 1.1 blocks in 16 games. Lakeland (21-9, 12-1 LMC) has already clinched their fourth consecutive LMC title with one match remaining.

October 11-17
Rachel Scheibe of Wisconsin Lutheran College
...Sophomore...Middle Hitter...Waukesha, Wis. (Wisconsin Lutheran High School)
Scheibe led the Warriors to a 3-1 (3-0 LMC) record last week including a 3-0 victory over Lakeland College--Lakeland's first regular season conference loss in 44 matches when they lost to Marian on September 25, 2001. In 13 games Scheibe tallied 29 kills (2.23 kpg) for a .397 attack percentage, 12.5 blocks (6 solo), and over a 90% serving percentage. WLC is 17-7 overall, and second in the LMC with a 9-3 record.

October 4-10
Nadine Callan of Maranatha Baptist Bible College
...Sophomore...Outside Hitter...Muncie, Ind. (Heritage Hall High School)
Callan helped the Crusaders to a 3-2 record last week including a LMC win over Marian College. In 19 games, Callan totaled 78 kills (4.11 kpg) on 187 attempts, 85 digs (4.47 dpg), 12 blocks (5 solo), 5 assists, and a .956 serving percentage. Maranatha is 13-11 overall and tied for 2nd in the LMC with a 6-3 conference record.

September 27-October 3
Lana Neuman of Lakeland College
...Junior...Setter...Hortonville, Wis. (Hortonville High School)
Neuman assisted the Muskies to four conference wins last week defeating Concordia, MSOE, Maranatha and Alverno, and dropping a non-conference match to Carthage College. In 18 games, Neuman tallied 200 assists (11.11 apg), 54 digs (3.0 dpg), and 13 kills. Lakeland leads the LMC with a 8-0 conference record (12-7 overall).

September 20-26
Rachel Scheibe of Wisconsin Lutheran College
...Sophomore...Middle Hitter...Waukesha, Wis. (Wisconsin Lutheran High School)
Scheibe averaged 2.4 kills/game and 0.53 blocks/game including a .347 attack % in the Warriors 4 matches last week. The Warriors (11-3, 4-0 LMC) defeated Alverno and Aurora, while losing to Manchester and North Central last week.

September 13-19
Angie Bleck of Edgewood College
...Senior...Outside Hitter...Monona, Wis. (Monona Grove High School)
Sitting out Wednesday's match at Lakeland due to illness, Bleck rebounded by helping the Eagles sweep Alverno College, 3-0, on Saturday. Versus Alverno, Bleck recorded nine kills, 15 digs, and two block solos. Later that day, Bleck registered her first triple-double of the season with 12 kills, 15 assists and 14 digs in a 3-1 loss to MSOE. Defensively, Bleck also posted five blocks against the Raiders and tallied a .321 attack percentage. In seven games played last week, Bleck averaged 3.00 kills, 3.00 assists, 4.14 digs, and 1.00 blocks per game.

September 6 - 12
Eren Turk of Alverno College
...Senior...Outside Hitter...Adana, Turkey
Turk led the Inferno to a 2-2 record last week with 34 kills in 70 attempts (.486). She earned All-Tournament honors at the St. Norbert College Invitational Tournament, being named to her second all-tournament team this season.

September 1 - 5
Stefanie Romas of Wisconsin Lutheran College
...Freshman...Setter...Muskego, Wis. (Wisconsin Lutheran High School)
The Warriors went 3-1 in the opening season River City Classic tournament in Dubuque, Iowa. In the four matches, Romas tallied 134 assists, 26 kills, and 9 service aces. After trailing 9-14 in the fifth game vs. Dubuque, she served out for the Warriors to win 16-14. For her efforts, she was named to the All-Tournament team.
