The Lake Michigan Conference men's tennis
championship was decided today at Nielson Indoor Tennis Stadium in Madison,
Wisconsin. Marian College took home the first place trophy to end Milwaukee
School of Engineering's five-year winning streak. The Sabres entered the two-day
tournament with 6 points earned during regular season play, their sole loss to
Concordia University. Marian then proceeded to win three of the six singles
titles and one of the three doubles titles to capture the LMC Championship.
