Sarah Rennicke of Concordia University

Rennicke recorded three wins in the LMC Tournament last week, including a
three-hit shutout in the championship game over Marian. She struck out 17
batters in 21 innings, limiting her opponents to a .215 average. Rennicke's ERA
for the week was 1.00 in her three appearances. Rennicke also recorded three
hits, two RBIs and two runs scored on the offensive side. Concordia's (21-21)
win earned them a spot in the 2006 NCAA Division III Softball Championship.
Julie Skenandore of Marian College

Skenandore went 5-1 this past week, and recorded her first career no-hitter in
Tuesday against Alverno College in a LMC tournament first round game. Versus
Alverno, she threw six strikeouts, and had only two walks. She then pitched all
eight innings in the Sabres' (19-25) nine-inning, 6-5 victory over Wisconsin
Lutheran College in their second tournament game. Her winning streak continued
over Lakeland, MSOE and Edgewood. In the LMC championship game, she gave up only
three hits and threw seven strikeouts, in the 1-0 loss to Concordia.

Rachel Griesbach of Lakeland College
...Sophomore...RHP...Hortonville, Wis. (Hortonville)...
Griesbach threw the first no-hitter of her careen in game one versus Alverno
College on Saturday in the Muskies 8-0 win. In five games last week, she pitched
27 innings, giving up only 13 hits, walked seven and struck out 24 batters while
compiling a 4-1 record. The finished the regular season with a perfect 12-0
record versus LMC opponents.

April 17-23
Rachel Griesbach of Lakeland College
...Sophomore...RHP...Hortonville, Wis. (Hortonville)...
Griesbach went 5-0 last week with a 1.71 ERA, which included 26 strikeouts in
26.1 innings. Griesbach pitched a two hitter and a three hitter in Sunday's
doubleheader sweep of Milwaukee School of Engineering. Griesbach currently
remains undefeated in LMC play, holding a 8-0 record for the Muskies (13-17, 8-4
LMC).

Monica Hetzel of Lakeland College
...Senior...U...Hancock, Wis. (Tri-County Area)...
Hetzel went 8-for-18 for a .444 average in six games last week. Hetzel had two
runs batted in, four runs scored, and hit her first career homerun, a solo shot
against Edgewood on April 10. The Muskies are 8-16 overall, and 3-3 in the Lake
Michigan Conference.

Rennicke pitched in all four of the Falcons' (10-16, 3-1 LMC) games last week,
and went 2-1 with a save. One of her wins was a 14 inning marathon shutout, in
which the Falcons won 1-0 over Wisconsin Lutheran College. Rennicke threw 17
strikeouts and allowed only one walk in the win. In her 24 innings pitched, she
allowed only one earned run.

Michelle Shambeau of Wisconsin Lutheran College
...Sophomore...RHP...Two Rivers, Wis. (Manitowoc Lutheran)...
On March 30 the first game of a doubleheader vs. Rockford College, Shambeau
tossed the first no-hitter in Wisconsin Lutheran College softball history. She
struck out six batters, walking none and allowed only one runner to reach base
on a hit by pitch. The Warriors improved to 5-9 this season.

Valerie Barlett of Lakeland College
...Senior...2B...Galesburg, Ill. (Galesburg)...
Barlett went 14-for-30 at the plate for a .467 average last week,
including five runs scored and three RBIs on the Muskie's (2-7)
spring trip to Tucson, Arizona. Barlett also has a nine-game hitting
streak, in the team's nine games this season.

Katy Beahm of Marian College
...Junior...IF...Waupun, Wis. (Waupun)...
Beahm hit an astounding 7-for-9 as the Sabres (3-3) recorded a pair
of wins last week. The junior infielder hit 3-for-4, recording three
RBIs and a double in the Sabres' 9-3 win over Finlandia University
on Sunday. In Marian's second game of the day, a 15-6 victory over
Blackburn College, Beahm was 4-for-5 with four RBIs and a double.
For the week she hit 7-for-9 (.778), tallied seven RBIs, two doubles
and a run.

Autumn Schmitt
...Senior...3B...Colby, Wis. (Colby)...
Schmitt started out the season strong at the plate going 4-for-8 in
four games at the Finlandia University Invitational last weekend.
The senior scored five runs and had a RBI as the Falcons went 2-2 in
the season-opening tournament.
