The Lake Michigan Conference has
named Edgewood College's Matt Kleppe Player of the Week for men's soccer, and
Lakeland College's Amanda Smith Player of the Week for women's soccer.
Kleppe, a junior forward from Mount Horeb, WI, was honored for the second
straight week. Kleppe scored two game-winning goals in Edgewood's two wins
this past week. In a 4-1 win over Maranatha, he scored a goal and assisted
one. In a 3-2 win over Beloit, he had two of Edgewood's three goals. The
Eagles are currently 3-1-1 in the LMC, and could tie for the conference
championship if they beat Marian this week in the final LMC game.
Smith, a sophomore from Neenah, WI, helped her team clinch a tie for the LMC
title. She scored two goals and added an assist in a 4-0 shutout over second
place Wisconsin Lutheran.

The Lake Michigan Conference has

Wisconsin Lutheran College's Nikki Scholz Player of the Week for women's
soccer.
Kleppe, a junior forward from Mount Horeb, WI, helped the Eagles earn two wins
in the LMC this past week. He scored a goal in Edgewood's 3-2 win over
M.S.O.E., and scored a goal and added an assist in a 3-0 victory over
Wisconsin Lutheran. Edgewood is currently 2-1-1 in the LMC, a one-half game
back of first place Concordia (3-1-1).
Scholz, a freshman midfielder from West Allis, WI, assisted in keeping the
Warriors undefeated in the LMC. She scored a hat-trick in a 3-1 win over
Edgewood, and also tallied a goal in a 3-1 victory over Maranatha. Wisconsin
Lutheran is currently tied for first place in the LMC with Lakeland, both
having 3-0-0 records.

The Lake Michigan Conference has
named Lakeland College's Gabe Vollmer Player of the Week for men's soccer, and
Edgewood College's Martha Kohlbeck Player of the Week for women's soccer.
Vollmer, a junior midfielder out of Madison, WI, scored a goal and added an
assist in a 2-1 victory over LMC rival Marian. He also added a goal in the
Muskies' 2-2 tie with Edgewood in another LMC contest last week. Lakeland is
currently 1-1-1 in the LMC, a game-and-one-half back of first place Concordia.
Kohlbeck, a freshman midfielder from Green Bay, WI, was Edgewood's only source
of scoring last week in two LMC contests. She scored both goals in a 2-0
victory over Maranatha, one goal in a 2-1 overtime loss to league leading
Lakeland. The Eagles are 2-1-0 in the LMC, one-half game back of 2-0-0
Lakeland.

The Lake Michigan Conference has
named Concordia University's Steve Dziatkiewicz Player of the Week for men's
soccer, and Lakeland College's Nicki Smith Player of the Week for women's
soccer.
Dziatkiewicz, a junior forward from Oconomowoc High School, scored a goal in a
win over Beloit College, and 2 goals in a victory over LMC foe Wisconsin
Lutheran. Dziatkiewiczc leads the LMC in points per game with 2.82, and it
second in the league in goals, averaging 1.0 a game. This is his second Player
of the Week honor this season. The Falcons (9-1-1, 1-0-0 LMC) are ranked #8
in the Central Region this week.
Smith, a freshman midfielder from Neenah, WI, scored a hat-trick in a 10-0
shutout win over Alverno College, and tallied an assist in a LMC win over
Maranatha. Smith leads the LMC in assists per game (0.46), is 6th in goals per
game (0.46) and is 6th in points per game (1.38). The Muskies are currently
8-4-1 overall and 1-0-0 in the LMC.

The Lake Michigan Conference has
named Concordia University's Jake Banas Player of the Week for men's soccer,
and Maranatha Baptist Bible College's Sommer Rodolph Player of the Week for
women's soccer.
Banas , a sophomore goalkeeper out of Cedarburg High School, recorded 6 saves
in a 1-0 victory over previously ranked Dominican College. Banas currently
leads the LMC in goals against average with 1.07. Concordia is currently
7-1-1 this season, ranked #8 in the Central Region this week.
Rodolph, a junior forward from Natrona County High School in Wyoming, had the
game winning assist in a 1-0 win over Marian College, and the lone game
winning goal in a 1-0 win over Northland Baptist College last week. Rodolph is
currently 7th in goals per game in the LMC with 0.38, and 10th in points per
game with 0.88. The Crusaders are currently 3-5-0 on the season.

The Lake Michigan Conference has
named Concordia University's Steve Dziatkiewicz Player of the Week for men's
soccer, and Lakeland College's Meghan Wudtke Player of the Week for women's
soccer.
Dziatkiewicz , a junior forward from Oconomowoc High School, tallied 5 goals
and 3 assists in helping the Falcons go unbeaten (2-0-1) last week. Concordia
is currently 6-1-1 this season, holding the best record in the LMC.
Wudtke, a junior forward from Elk Grove Village, IL, scored 8 goals in two
wins for the Muskies last week. Lakeland beat UW-Platteville 5-1, and
Concordia of Illinois 14-0. Wudtke currently leads the LMC in goals per game
(1.56) and points per game (3.33). The Muskies are currently 5-4-0 on the
season.

named Concordia University's Peter Schreiber Player of the Week for men's
soccer, and Lakeland College's Amanda Smith Player of the Week for women's
soccer.
Schreiber, a freshman forward out of Milwaukee Lutheran H.S., tied a school
record by scoring 4 goals in a 7-1 victory over North Central. The Falcons are
currently 4-1 overall this season.
Smith, a sophomore from Neenah H.S., scored 1 goal and tallied 1 assist in a
6-0 shutout over Ripon College, and scored 2 goals in a 3-1 victory over North
Park University.

The Conference Players of the Week
for men's and women's soccer have been awarded for the first time this
season. Matt Kleppe of Edgewood College was named men's soccer LMC Player of
the Week, and Gretchen Milisch, also of Edgewood College was honored for the
women.
Kleppe, a junior forward out of
Mount Horeb, WI, scored 2 goals in a 2-2 tie with Augsburg for the Eagles.
Edgewood is currently 0-3-1 on the season.
Milisch, a junior forward from
LaCrosse Aquinas H.S., scored the 2 lone goals in a 2-0 win over Benedictine.
The Edgewood women's team is currently 1-3 on the season.
