LMC VOLLEYBALL TEAMS PARTICIPATE IN DIG FOR LIFE
This fall the Lake Michigan Conference volleyball teams won’t be digging balls on the volleyball court just to put a few more W’s in the win column. They’ll be digging to make a difference, too.

For the second season, the LMC volleyball teams will participate in Dig for Life, a program designed to raise donations as well as awareness for breast cancer research. The program will be held throughout the entire month of October, which is Breast Cancer Awareness month.

Pledges are made for each dig the teams make during their home matches in October. You may pledge an amount per dig or a flat donation to any school in the conference. All money raised will aid breast cancer research benefiting the Medical College of Wisconsin’s Cancer Center in Milwaukee.

All women’s volleyball teams from the Lake Michigan Conference will contribute to Dig for Life this season. Last season, contributions from LMC teams totaled $4,424.96.
