WLC'S URBANEK NAMED TO ALL-REGION SECOND TEAM
John Urbanek, a senior guard on Wisconsin Lutheran College's men's basketball team, was recently named to D3hoops.com All-Midwest Region Second Team. Urbanek led the Warriors (12-15) in scoring and steals averaging 21.1 points per game and 2.4 steals per game, respectively. He is currently 11th in the nation in three-point field goals per game with a 3.7 average, 32nd in points per game, and 49th in steals per game. The senior guard also averaged 3.8 rebounds per game and 2.0 assists per game. WLC finished 5th in the LMC standings, and lost to Lakeland in the LMC Tournament championship game.
