DIVISION III COMMISSIONERS ASSOCIATION HONORS LARSON
MADISON -- Lake Michigan Conference commissioner Steve Larson was recently awarded the NCAA Division III Commissioners Association Service Appreciation Awards at the annual Commissioners Convention. The award was given to Larson as the association's way of thanking him for is ten years of service as a Division III commissioner.

"We very much appreciate Steve's loyalty and dedication to Division III athletics. His service as commissioner has been exemplary, and we would remiss if we did not recognize it," remarks Tim Gleason, President of the Division III Commissioners Association.

Larson was instrumental in the LMC's membership to the NCAA in 1997, and has been the recipient of the LMC's Jerry Kruse Administrator of the Year Award nine consecutive years.
