February 16, 1999
Co-Players of the Week:
Mandy Halpin, Junior, Guard, Park Falls, WI * Concordia University
Halpin helped the Falcons to a 2-1 week by averaging 18.7 points/game. She also had 13 rebounds, 8 assists, 4 steals and shot 83% from the line (10-12) while committing just 5 turnovers.

Sara Zondag, Senior, Center, Randolph, WI * Wisconsin Lutheran College
The Warriors were 2-0 for the week including a key win over second place Edgewood. Zondag averaged 18.5 points, 15 rebounds, 3 blocks, and 2 assists.

Angela Seeley, So, Fd, Georgetown, IL - Maranatha Baptist Bible College
Seeley continued her torrid shooting, drilling 17 shots (46% FG) including 6 of 13 on treys. She averaged 24 points, 3.5 assists, and 3 rebounds as the Crusaders split a pair of LMC games.

Jill Dewane, Fr, Gd, Denmark, WI - Lakeland College
In the showdown with second place Edgewood College, Dewane was a cool customer pouring in 20 points on 75% three-point shooting (3-4) and 57% field goal shooting. she added 4 assists as the Muskies solidified their hold on first place.

Co-Players of the Week:
Angela Seeley, Sophomore, Forward, Georgetown, IL * Maranatha Baptist
Seeley was an offensive force last week as she averaged 24.5 points over the course of two LMC outings. She poured in 56% of her shots from the field and added 8 steals for the Crusaders' cause.

Sara Zondag, Sophomore, Center, Randolph, WI * Wisconsin Lutheran
Zondag led the Warriors to a 2-1 week with averages of 18.0 points, 13.3 rebounds, 1.7 blocks and 1.7 assists. She connected on 50% of her field goals as well. In the Warriors win over Marian, Zondag tallied 25 points and 20 boards.

Sarah Reckelberg, Freshman, Forward, Luxemburg, WI * Marian College
Reckelberg led the Sabres to a 65-53 win over Concordia at home and a 69-56 loss at Lakeland College by averaging 16 points and 9.5 rebounds per/game. She shot 54.2% from the floor and tallied 4 assists.

Jill Dewane, Freshman, Guard, Denmark, WI * Lakeland College
Dewane kept the Muskies perfect with a dazzling display of scoring and rebounding. In a64-53 win over MSOE, she poured in a career-high 34 points and snared 11 rebounds. Against Marian she amassed 17 points and 8 boards. For the week she shot 57% from the floor and 100% at the line.

Huyla Erden, Sophomore, Guard, Istanbul, Turkey - Lakeland College
Erden powered the Muskies to victories over Maranatha and Edgewood by averaging 22 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 4.5 assists in the two games. At Edgewood, she poured in 25 points while shooting 55% from the field and 79% from the free throw line.

Angie Schwebke, Senior, Forward, Oakfield, WI - Milwaukee School of Engineering
Angie spent a busy week in the LMC scoring and rebounding for the Red Raiders to the tune of 15.3 points and 10.3 rebounds per game in three contests. She also added 5 steals and 5 assists as MSOE went 1-2 for the week.

Co-Players of the Week:
Patty Perkins, Sr, Gd, McFarland, WI - Edgewood College
Perkins sparked the Eagles to an LMC opening 76-49 victory at Maranatha with 19 points on 67% field goal shooting. She played just 18 minutes of the game, but was able to hit 3 of 4 treys, snare 3 boards, and dish for 3 assists all while making her first five shots of the game.

Dewane helped the Muskies open defense of their 1997-98 championship with 25 points in a win over Concordia. She also tallied 4 rebounds, 4 steals, 2 assists, and a blocked shot to complete an all-around performance that included 64% field goal shooting, 75% free throw shooting, and 67% three-point shooting.
