Zeck recorded his third, fourth and fifth straight double-doubles as he closed
out his basketball career at Lakeland. For the week, where the Muskies went 2-1,
he averaged 20.7 points and 14.6 rebounds per game while shooting 56.5 percent
(26-of-46). In a 72-68 win at Northland Baptist, Zeck had 16 points and 19
rebounds. Versus Marian College, a 72-59 victory in the LMC Tournament
quarterfinals, Zeck scored 21 points and pulled down 13 boards. Zeck then closed
out the season in an 85-81 loss at Edgewood College in the semifinals, where he
scored Lakeland's first 12 points of the game. He finished the game with 25
points on 11-of-16 shooting and grabbed 12 rebounds.

Zeck led the Muskies to a pair of conference wins last week, securing Lakeland a
home game in the first round of LMC tournament, by averaging 24.5 points and
14.5 rebounds per game while shooting 60% (18-of-30) from the floor. In a 77-52
win over MSOE on Wednesday, Zeck scored 19 points and grabbed 15 rebounds, both
game-highs. On Saturday, in a 79-58 victory at Maranatha Baptist, Zeck scored a
season-high 30 points on 10-of-17 shooting and grabbed 14 boards. His eight
double-doubles leads the LMC.

Charlie Averkamp of Edgewood College

Averkamp helped the first place Eagles to a 71-63 victory at Marian on Saturday
by scoring 26 points, on 10-of-15 shooting from the field, and grabbing 13
rebounds. Earlier in the week, Averkamp scored 11 points and grabbed five
rebounds in just 11 minutes in a 70-56 win against Lakeland College. For the
week Averkamp averaged 18.5 points and 9.0 rebounds per game while shooting over
66% (14-of-21) from the field and over 88% (8-of-9) from the free throw line.

Jeff Mikos of Milwaukee School of Engineering

Mikos led the Raiders to victories over the top two teams in the league and
recorded his second career triple-double in the process. On Wednesday night
Mikos had 11 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds in a 64-58 overtime victory over
Edgewood, knocking them out of first-place in the LMC, temporarily. Mikos then
had a team-high 22 points, seven assists and seven rebounds in an 81-77 win at
Wisconsin Lutheran on Saturday afternoon, making Lutheran's stay in the top spot
short lived. For the week Mikos averaged 16.5 points, 9.0 assists, 8.5 rebounds
and 3.5 steals per game, while shooting 55% (11-of-20) from the field and 50%
(2-of-4) from beyond the arc.

Christensen recorded a pair of double-doubles last week, which makes five
consecutive games he has accomplished this feat. In last Wednesday's 96-88
victory over Concordia University, Christensen led all scorers with 27 points
and dished out 10 assists. He was a perfect 6-of-6 from the charity stripe,
3-of-3 from beyond the three-point arc and 9-of-14 from the field. Christensen
had another spectacular game in a tough 99-95 overtime loss to co-league leader
Edgewood College (5-1 LMC). He led WLC with 29 points and 13 assists, and had
another perfect game at the foul line going 7-of-7. For the week Christensen
averaged 28.0 points, 11.5 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 1.5 steals per contest while
shooting 50% (18-of-36) from the field, 54% (7-of-13) from three-point land, and
a perfect 100% (13-of-13) from the free throw line.

Mikos helped the Raiders split a pair of LMC games last week as he averaged 17.0
points, 8.0 assists, 6.5 steals and 4.5 rebounds per game. In a 83-73 win over
Maranatha Baptist, Mikos was just a steal and assist shy of a triple-double as
he tallied 17 points, 9 steals and 9 assists in the game. On Saturday's 73-61
loss to Lakeland College Mikos matched his scoring performance with 17 points on
8-of-14 shooting and added seven assists, five rebounds and four steals.

James averaged 20.5 points, 4.5 assists, 4.5 rebounds and 3.5 steals helping the
Muskies earn a split with LMC preseason favorite Concordia University last week.
James had 17 points, six rebounds, five assists and five steals in Monday's
83-74 double-overtime win at Concordia. He then followed that up with scoring a
season-high 24 points in a 95-88 loss to Concordia, where he also had four
assists and a pair of steals.
Seth Cooper of Edgewood College

Cooper averaged 25.0 points, 5.3 rebounds and 4.0 assists leading the Eagles to
a 2-1 record last week. Cooper posted a 15 point-7 rebound performance in the
championship game of the Edgewood College Classic on Tuesday as Edgewood downed
Finlandia University 77-49. In the Coaches vs. Cancer Tournament at York College
(Penn.) Cooper led the Eagles to a 78-67 win over Oneonta State with 28 points,
including a tournament record 12-of-12 from the free throw line, while shooting
8-of-13 from the field and posting six rebounds, five assists and two steals.
Cooper then scored a season-high 32 points in Saturday's 80-77 loss to host York
College in the championship game. Cooper was again perfect from the free throw
line (7-of-7), and his 60 points in two games was a new tournament record.
Currently he has made 29 consecutive free throws, a streak that dates back to
Dec. 29.

Cooper averaged 21.7 points and 5.7 rebounds per game last week, as Edgewood
went 2-1 in three non-conference games. Cooper scored 17 points in the Eagles'
68-61 loss to No. 23 Benedictine University on Dec. 28. Cooper then led Edgewood
to a 77-61 win over Eureka College with a game-high 23 points on Dec. 29. He
then tallied 25 points and nine rebounds in Sunday's 68-38 win over the
University of Dallas on Jan 2.

Averkamp recorded three double-doubles in the last three games as the Eagles
went 2-1 last week. Averkamp recorded a 11 point-12 rebound game in a loss to
No. 23 Benedictine University, a 17 point-10 rebound game in win over Eureka
College, and a 15 point-11 rebound performance in a win over University of
Dallas. For the week he averaged 14.3 points, 11.0 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks per
game.

Averkamp set a freshman single-game record at Edgewood College by scoring 41
points in the Eagles' 99-77 win at Maranatha Baptist on Dec. 7. It was the most
points scored by an Eagle basketball player in one game since Chip MacKenzie set
the school record of 46 points back on Dec. 21, 1988. Averkamp shot 19-of-23
(82.6%) against the Crusaders and added six rebounds. On Dec. 11, Averkamp
scored seven points and three rebounds in just 12 minutes before having to leave
the game early in the first half due to an injury. However, the Eagles would
still go on to defeat Lakeland College by a final score of 81-73.

Solarek helped the Crusaders to a 2-2 record last week with outstanding shooting
and had a season high 21 points versus Moody Bible on Saturday. For the week
Solarek averaged 18.5 points, 2.5 steals and 2.3 assists per game, while
shooting 55.3% (21-for-38) from the field, 57.7% (15-for-26) from behind the
three-point line and 85% (17-for-20) from the charity stripe.

It was Cooper's game-winning basket at the buzzer that lifted Edgewood to a
61-60 victory over #25 UW-Platteville last Tuesday. Cooper finished with nine
points, six rebounds, and two steals. In Sunday's 72-64 victory versus North
Park University, Cooper tallied a season-high 24 points to go along with six
assists and four steals. He shot 8-of-11 from the floor, including a perfect
4-of-4 from three-point range. For the week, Cooper averaged 16.5 points, 5.0
rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 2.0 steals per game.

shooting, including 7-of-7 from the charity stripe, and 6 rebounds. The
following night he recorded his first double-double of the season scoring 17
points and grabbing 12 rebounds in a 64-60 win over UW-La Crosse. For the week
he averaged 18.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks per game.

In his first collegiate game Averkamp led Edgewood with 21 points and nine
rebounds in Friday's 77-66 loss at UW-Oshkosh. Averkamp scored 17 of his 21
points in the first half, despite playing only 10 minutes, on 7-of-9 shooting
from the floor. Averkamp was also a perfect 5-of-5 from the free throw line.
Defensively, Averkamp had two steals.
