February 16, 1999
Co-Players of the Week:
Tim Arndorfer, Senior, Guard, Wauwatosa, WI * Wisconsin Lutheran
College Arndorfer led the Warriors to a pair of LMC victories that restored WI Lutheran to a first place tie. Against Edgewood he tallied 21 points and 8 rebounds while hitting 7 of 8 three-pointers. He also added 20 ponts and 4 rebounds in a win over Maranatha Baptisti.

Jason Hovland, Junior, Forward, Durand, WI * Marian College In
Marian's lone game last week, a 63-44 win over Lakeland, Hovland connected on 9 of 15 shots from the field. He recorded 18 points, 5 rebounds and two blocked shots.

February 9, 1999
Co-Players of the Week:
Ryan Lanphear, Jr, Gd, Madison, WI - Edgewood College
Lanphear led a balanced attack to three victories last week including two on the road. He averaged 15.3 points, 3.7 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals while shooting 50% from the field.

Biaya Kadima, Jr, Gd, Milwaukee, WI - Concordia University
According to his coach, Kadima's defense was the main reason Concordia won two LMC games last week. However, he did find time to average 12 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2.5 steals in victories over MSOE (74-73), and WI Lutheran (64-59).

11 Assists, 28 Rebounds, 1 Blocks, 1 Steals Total: 41 in three games

 

February 2, 1999
Co-Players of the Week:
Scott Jaeger, Freshman, Guard, North Fond du Lac, WI * Marian College
Jaeger led the Sabres to a 2-0 LMC week and kept Marian within striking range of the top spot in the league. Jaeger led with 15 points in a 69-39 win over MSOE and then tossed in 9 points and dished out a game-high 7 assists in Marian's upset win over WI Lutheran, 63-56. He shot 62% from the field and averaging 6.0 assists/game.

Ryan Voels, Sophomore, Guard, Slinger, WI * Concordia University
Voels propelled the Falcons into a first place tie by tallying 16 points in a come from behind win over Edgewood. Out of league, Voels tallied a triple-double (11 points, 10 rebounds, and 12 assists) and hit a 30 foot trey in the CIT.

Co-Players of the Week:
Jamie Arenz, Junior, Guard, Kiel, WI * Lakeland College Arenz was a
stat-box stuffer last week for the Muskies, averaging 23 points, 6 rebounds, 6.5 steals, and 5 assists in a pair of LMC contests. He shot 52% from the field (16-31), and 90% at the line (9-10).

Josh Metzger, Sophomore, Forward, Wauwatosa, WI * Wisconsin Lutheran College
Metzger continues to set a torrid pace averaging 22.7 points and 13 rebounds in 3 conference games. He is second in the LMC in scoring (19.6) and second in rebounding (9.4) for the first place Warriors.

Williams paced the Eagles to victories over Maranatha and Lakeland by
averaging a league-high 22.5 points and 10.5 rebounds per outing. He hit 58.1% of his field goals (18-31) and tallied 4 steals.

Dave Patterson, Senior, Center, Milwaukee, WI - Lakeland College
Patterson amassed 23 points and 18 rebounds in a week that saw the Muskies split a pair of LMC games. Patterson was hot from the field, connecting on 59% of his field goal attempts.

January 12, 1999
Player of the Week:
Josh Metzger, So, Fd, Wauwatosa, WI - WI Lutheran College
Metzger helped the defending four-time LMC champion Warriors get the 1998-99 season off to a flying start with 23 points in a 69-64 victory over visiting Marian College. Metzger hit 54% of his field goals and was perfect from the line (8-8 FTs). He also amassed 13 boards and 3 steals.
