1995-96 PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Week #5, Feb. 5, 1996
Tony Resch, Sophomore, Guard, West Allis, WI - Cardinal Stritch College
In a narrow 62-59 loss to Marian and a 78-66 victory over Concordia, Resch tallied 15 and 22 points respectively. He shot an amazing 65% from the field (15-23) and 57% from long range (4-7). Resch also had 5 steals in the tow games combined.

Kon Knueppel, Sophomore, Forward, Milwaukee, WI - Wisconsin Lutheran College
Knueppel continued to be a stat-box stuffer as he led the Warriors to victories over Concordia (86-64) and Marian (70-63). In the two-game stretch he averaged 19 points, 8 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 2.5 steals, and 1 block while connecting on 43% of his three-pointers and 80% of his free throws. He is the only player ranked among the top ten in all six conference statistical categories.

Kon Knueppel, Sophomore, Forward, Milwaukee, WI - Wisconsin Lutheran College
Knueppel has sparked the Warriors to a 2-0 start by averaging 21/5 ppg and 7.0 rpg. He also had 7 assists and shot 56% from the field. Against Concordia he busted for 33 points (12-19 FGs, 7-8 3s) and 10 boards.

Tony Resch, Sophomore, Guard, West Allis, WI - Cardinal Stritch College
Resch and the Crusaders are 2-0 thanks in part to his 20.5 ppg on 52% field goal shooting and 67% long-range bombing. He also has 6 rebounds and 2 assists. In an overtime win at Marian he hit for 27 points.
