Franke won both of the games the Eagles played last week, pitching eight solid
innings against Maranatha. Franke went 6 innings in the opener allowing just 1
earned run. He then came in to the second games to relieve in the seventh before
Edgewood scored the winning runs in the eight. For the week Franke's ERA was
.086 with 8 strikeouts.
Chad Gorman, Lakeland College, So, C/DH, Waukesha, WI
Gorman helped the Muskies to a doubleheader sweep of Concordia University by
hitting .500 (4 for 8) with 5 runs scored and 5 RBIs. In the first game he hit a
game tying homerun to fuel the Muskie attack.

Matt Kaiser, Milwaukee School of Engineering, Fr, C, Bensenville, IL
Kaiser sparked the Red Raiders to a 4-2 mark with a .625 batting average.
Kaiser went 10-16 with 1 dinger, 2 runs scored and 7 RIB. The Red Raiders
defeated previously unbeaten Lakeland College as one of their four conference
wins.
Bob Manders, Marian College, Jr, 1B, Menomonee Falls, WI
Manders helped Marian to a 4-0 record last week by hitting .643 (9-14)
driving in 11 runs and scoring 9 times in the four games. Against Concordia,
Manders was a blistering 7 for 7 at the plates with 1 home runs, 2 triples, 2
doubles, and 2 singles.

Tom Jury, Edgewood College, Jr, C/DH, Little Chute, WI
In two games against Northwestern, Jury tallied 5 hits and 11 RBIs. In the
doubleheader he hit two homeruns and two doubles. For the week he was 8-14
(.571) with 12 RBIs.
Jake Manthey, Lakeland College, So, P, Pardeeville, WI
Manthey threw a 3-hit shutout against Edgewood last week for his second
consecutive conference shutout. In 7 innings of work, Manthey collected 2 Ks
while walking only 1.

Greg Shepard, Marian College, So, P, Manitowoc, WI
Shepard tossed a one-hit shutout against MSOE as the Sabres won 10-0. Shepard
pitched 6 innings, striking 7 and walking 3. His no-hit bid was broken up with
two down in MSOE's last at bat.
James Hennen, Wisconsin Lutheran College, Jr, SS, Sheboygan, WI
Hennen has led the Warriors to a 4-2 start by hitting .500 (11-22) in the six
games. He has collected 1 double and 1 triple with 5 runs scored and 7 RIBs. He
also has 5 stolen bases.
